Web Sites for Fundraising, Advancement Services and Related OrganizationsCASE : Page for the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education with information about CASE, job classifieds, legislative alerts, CASE services. I saw many of you at the CASE Senior Advancement Services Conference in San Diego in March 2002 and others at the Summer Institute in Advancement Service in Nashville, TN (at Vanderbilt Univ.) in July 2002. Good conferences thanks to John Ley in San Diego and Vickie Medlock in Nashville along with their great faculties. Educause :Association for Managing and Using Information Resources in Higher Education. Many excellent references & resources for systems in higher ed at this site. PMI is the leading nonprofit professional association in the area of Project Management. PMI establishes project management standards, provides seminars, educational programs and professional certification that more and more organizations desire for their project leaders. These sites and others have a wealth of links to other Fund-Raising sites. This was
merely intended as a starting point for you.

Lists for Advancement and Fundraising InformationA ListServ is a shared mailing list for discussions about concepts, techniques, and issues of common interest. There are a number of these lists that have been around for a while and provide very useful information (and personal networking) to their participants. Following is a list of some of the ones that I am familiar with. At the bottom of this section are links to sites where you can see more and sign up:
As these listservs and forums change owners and locations periodically, I have chosen to provide you with links to sites that maintain the sign-up instructions. The forums above may all be found and subscribed to through the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Click HERE for the CASE forums. There are other lists available through the "Charity Channel." Click HERE to look at and/or subscribe to the Charity Channel forums.
